TeckNet Negative and slide scanner 5M/10M

Rating: 4/5 ★★★★☆

Price £50TeckNet Slide scanner

The TeckNet Slide and Negative Scanner is an excellent value for money slide scanner perfectly suited for the home conversion project.

With its intuitive interface and the ability to scan straight to SD  (avoiding the hassle of any instillation issues)  it is certainly very straight forward compared to similar products.  Its simple functions along with speedy auto settings mean you should be able to start scanning straight away. This simplicity comes in handy as the instructions do seem to read like a bad translation.

The build quality is what you would expect for its price with fairly thin film carriage etc but its certainly up to the job it was designed for. In terms of scan quality the TeckNet does an excellent  job and can scan fairly quickly at 3600 DPI producing very good scans as long as the media you load in is flat and clean. As with all entry level scanners auto mode can get exposure and contrast wrong sometimes so touching up with imaging software can be recommended for some scans.

Overall a very good performing scanner for its price.
